UbuCon Asia 26 – Ubuntu Community Conference

UbuCon Asia is the annual community-driven conference focused on Ubuntu and open-source technologies in the Asia region. The event brings together Ubuntu contributors, developers, community organizers, system administrators, and Open Source enthusiasts to collaborate, share knowledge, and strengthen the Ubuntu community across Asia and beyond.

During UbuCon Asia, participants can attend talks, presentations, workshops, and Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions covering a wide range of topics, including Ubuntu development, open-source infrastructure, cloud and container technologies, security, Free Software, and community building. Alongside the formal program, there is ample space for collaboration, hack sessions, informal discussions, and networking with members of diverse Open Source communities.

The previous edition, UbuCon Asia 2025, took place on 30–31 August 2025 in Kathmandu, Nepal, bringing together Ubuntu and open-source community members from across the region for two days of talks, workshops, and collaboration.

Whether you are a long-time Ubuntu contributor, a new community member, or simply interested in Ubuntu and Free Software, UbuCon Asia 26 aims to provide an open, inclusive, and welcoming environment to learn, contribute, and connect — pending final confirmation of the event.
