Lomiri Hackathon: Building the Future of Open-Source Mobile Apps in Tilburg’s Historic Heart

OS-SCi is hosting a free two-day hackathon at it's headquarters on Spoorlaan 400, Tilburg, open to students interested in open-source mobile development.

The event features keynote talks from Mike Gabriel, Debian Developer and project lead for the Lomiri UI, and Erik Mols, who will introduce the Lomiri Bounty Program, which is a scheme offering students tangible rewards for contributing to the Ubuntu Touch ecosystem. The rest of the weekend is hands-on: building apps for Lomiri/Ubuntu Touch with guidance from experienced developers.

The event is free and open to all skill levels, so even if you aren't that familiar with Lomiri, Linux or development in general, we'll show you around.
