FOSDEM 2026

FOSDEM (Free and Open Source Software Developers’ European Meeting) is a large community event focused on Linux, Free Software, and Open Source technologies. Organized entirely by volunteers, FOSDEM brings together developers, users, and Open Source enthusiasts from around the world to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and connect with the wider Free Software community.

During the event, visitors can attend hundreds of talks, developer rooms, lightning talks, and project stands covering a wide range of topics. These include operating systems, programming languages, infrastructure, security, tooling, and community development. Attendees have many opportunities to meet maintainers and contributors of Open Source projects and engage in technical and informal discussions throughout the weekend.

📍 Location: ULB Solbosch Campus, Avenue Franklin Roosevelt 50, Brussels, Belgium

Whether you are new to Open Source or an experienced developer, FOSDEM 2026 offers an open and welcoming environment to learn, share, and connect with the global Free Software community.
