Chemnitz Linux Days 2026 — Conference
Chemnitz Linux Days is a major annual open-source and Linux-focused community conference held in Germany that celebrates free and open source software, collaborative innovation, and digital sovereignty. The event brings together Linux users, developers, open-source enthusiasts, educators, companies, and project contributors for a weekend of talks, workshops, hands-on sessions, project booths, and networking opportunities across a wide range of topics related to open technologies.
Since
its inception in 1999, Chemnitz Linux Days has grown into one of the
most established events in the German-speaking open-source scene,
attracting thousands of participants each year. Held in the Hörsaal-
und Seminar-Gebäude at Technische Universität Chemnitz, the
conference offers a diverse program that includes lectures for
beginners and experts, community-led workshops, install parties, the
“CLT Junior” track for younger visitors, a busy exhibition area
